MIDDLE COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL

The Middle College High School chapter of the National Honor Society is pleased to invite applications from eligible juniors and seniors. If interested, see Mr. Kempton to request an application for the current academic year.

The criteria for eligibility are as follows:

- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.25

- Character reference which may not be filled out by a family member or an MCHS teacher

- A completed application

 

Once a student has become a member, they must fulfill an annual service participation requirement, maintain their cumulative GPA at or above the membership threshold, and comport themselves as leaders of their communities.

In light of the recent pandemic, the service requirement component of the application has been suspended and will not apply to individuals applying for Fall Induction.

Moving forward, induction ceremonies will be held in the spring and will be open to students in grades 10, 11, and 12 who have at least three semesters of academic records at the high school or high school and college level.
